It often seems like innovation is confined to a few fast-paced industries such as tech or medicine. That might be true for the occasional industry-changing concept, but smaller-scale innovations are possible in almost every business—including wine & spirits. They can be found all along the value chain—in marketing, sales, distribution, and consumer initiatives. This panel brings together experts in these segments from throughout the 3-tier system for a discussion on how they develop and execute innovative ideas. The dialogue will focus on examples of successful go-to market strategies for both the on- and off-premise markets nationally, and pioneering e-commerce and consumer-facing programs. The significance of using real-time data to make decisions and pivot when needed will also feature in the conversation as will recent findings from research on business model innovation in wine businesses.
