After 10 years in hospitality Liora Levi got smitten by the wine bug and graduated with honours from Norwegian Sommelier Education in 2010. She soon got involved in sommelier contests and earned the titles Nordic Sommelier Champion in 2012 and Best Sommelier of Norway in 2013. Since that time her professional life has revolved around wine entirely. She writes for the largest food and wine magazine in Norway, Maison Mat & Vin, she is the wine expert on God Morgen Norge – TV2 (the breakfast show on national tv) as well as an wine educator both for consumers and trade alike. She commits her free time for volunteer work as the president of the Norwegian Sommelier Association and the Events Communication Manager for ASI (Association de la Sommellerie Internationale). Her two main activities currently are; Ambassador Manager for Star Wine List, the guide to great wine bars and wine restaurants around the world, and her tv show Wine First, currently airing on PBS and Create TV.
