Whitney PopeWhitney Pope, Natural Wine Sommelier

Whitney’s love affair with wine began in 2010 while working part-time in wine retail and culinary events. She became a CMS Certified Sommelier in 2012 in four months after completing the International Culinary Center’s Sommelier Intensive program. Over the past decade, Whitney has used her expertise in wine to accelerate her career in corporate events and brand experiences. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 gave her the freedom and space needed to reconnect to her love for wine; while furloughed from her day job, Whitney launched the popular blog and Instagram account WHIT + WINE. Through WHIT + WINE, Whitney educates consumers on the complicated but delicious topic of natural wine.
