Pedro Ballesteros, Master of Wine

Pedro Ballesteros Torres, Master of Wine, has studied around the world, including at the renowned wine regions of Jerez, Burgundy, Napa Valley and Bordeaux, and holds an Agronomical Engineer degree and a Masters in Viticulture and Oenology among his qualifications. He is a columnist at several magazines in Spain and Belgium, regularly writes for wine magazines in the US, UK and Italy, completed the Spain chapters in the New Sotheby’s Wine Encyclopedia, and contributed to five other wine books. Ballesteros also chairs major international wine competitions, including Decanter’s WWA, Vinitaly’s 5Stars, Concour Mondial Bruxelles and others. He is active in the fields of promotion and education, and sits in several institutional boards. National expert at OIV. Member of Gran Orden de Caballeros del Vino. Natasja Mallory, Director, Gregory + Vine

Natasja Mallory is a leading expert in Spanish wine, food and lifestyle brands. She was the first Director of the International Wine Department for the Lavinia wine boutique in Spain and has been a resident of Madrid for over 20 years. A presenter for the Spanish Taster’s Guild, Natasja is a Director at branding and communications agency, Gregory + Vine, and has led global campaigns for the Ribera del Duero, Rías Baixas and Cariñena regions. Her commitment to hospitality includes years of experience as the Purchasing Manager for Union Square Hospitality Group/Gramercy Tavern under top chef Tom Colicchio. She pursued a Master’s Degree in Food Science & Management from New York University and a degree in Journalism, and is fluent in Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese.
